Corporate annual medicals and health checks

We have access to any screening test or program that is available but our GPs are much more invested in ensuring that you get the right tests and investigations and that you avoid anything that may give results which are not of much value to you, or worse still, raise concerns that cause worry rather than reassurance.  This is particularly the case when we find things for which there is no known solution.  And this does happen.

Everyone differs in how much information they want and how much they would prefer not to know but the important thing is to go into the process armed with good background knowledge of what is on offer and how likely early intervention will be to alter the course of the illness or problem that you are screening for.

We have access to a wide range of screening tests at our local hospitals including colonoscopy, coronary CT angiograms, bone density measurement, exercise ECGs and echocardiography.  We can arrange any or all of these for you having considered your wishes, your past medical history and your family history.

And if anything is found as part of a screening process, your Mayfield GP, with whom you hopefully have an existing relationship, will be very ready to help with a plan and on-going advice and management.  This part something that usually missing from corporate screening service where at the end of the medical you are sent back to your GP for follow-up.
