If you're studying on UGA's Oxford program, you are eligible to use Mayfield Clinic's GP service for the duration of your stay.
Mayfield Clinic, a private GP service based in Oxford, provides healthcare support for University of Georgia students during their exchange program in Oxford. Students can book 15-minute video appointments with our General Practitioners for any health concerns at no cost, with follow-up 15-minute video consultations also fully covered.
If additional care is required, 30-minute appointments and medical investigations are available and can be reclaimed through their insurance. Our service ensures students have convenient, professional medical support throughout their time in Oxford.
To use the service, your UGA email will need to be registered with Mayfield Clinic. Please contact your programme administrator if you encounter any issues whilst booking.
Our GPs can help with any health concern. The UGA policy is a video service, allowing time for 15 minute appointments with a GP.
You can book a 15 minute GP appointment by video using the 'Book now' button above. You should start all interactions with a video GP appointment, and then if necessary we can arrange for you to come into the practice for an in-person appointment. There is no charge for the 15 minute appointments.
Our GPs can prescribe medication if appropriate from a 15 minute video consultation. Blood tests can be arranged following a 15 minute video appointment, the costs of which will need to be met by your insurer.
There is no cost for a 15 minute video GP appointment. If you need longer appointments, you can book a 30 minute appointment using your insurance.
