Having served as Clinical Lead for Oxfordshire Addiction Services and lead psychiatrist at a private addiction unit, I continue to provide specialised care as an addiction psychiatrist in Oxford. My comprehensive background in general medicine and psychiatry, recognised by the Laughlin Prize from the Royal College of Psychiatrists, allows me to offer patient-centred treatment tailored to individual needs.

His distinguished career includes consultant psychiatrist positions in West Lothian, Scotland, and South Oxfordshire. Dr. Coffey has also worked in specialised environments including the armed forces and prison services, where he provided crucial support for mentally ill offenders.
From 2015 to 2022, Dr. Coffey served as the Clinical Lead for Oxfordshire Addiction Services, following his successful tenure as the lead psychiatrist at a private addiction unit in St Andrews Hospital, Northampton. He continues his important work as an addiction psychiatrist within the Oxfordshire Addiction Team.
