With over 15 years’ experience as a GP, and a particular interest in Sports and Exercise/Musculoskeletal Medicine, alongside Lifestyle and Preventative Medicine, I am passionate about providing evidence based, high quality, personalised and holistic care and empowering patients to be involved in all stages of their health journey. I believe that offering a supportive environment where patients are comfortable to address their health concerns, leads to a clear understanding of individualised and personal health needs and in turn allows for optimal, personalised, and effective physical and psychological health outcomes. My Sports interest goes beyond a professional capacity, and outside of work I can be found on my Peloton bike, running or lifting weights which not only maintains my physical fitness and wellbeing, but allows me to continue to provide high quality, comprehensive and empathetic care to my patients.
I graduated from University of Bristol Medical School with Honours in 2004 and pursued Post Graduate training in Accident and Emergency and General Medicine before embarking on a General Practice Training Programme which I completed in London.
I also completed a Masters (with distinction) in Sports and Exercise Medicine, after which I was lucky enough to work at the 2012 London Olympics as one of the Beach Volleyball Sports Doctors and delivered Musculoskeletal Clinics as a specialist GP in London.
I moved to Surrey in 2021 to have the first of my 2 children and have continued to maintain my interest in fitness and exercise.
Outside of work, I am busy raising 2 children and spending time with my family, alongside keeping active, whether that be on the Peloton bike, running, lifting weights, walking the dog, and running around after young children. When time allows, I enjoy scuba diving, and surfing.
