I found an interest in sport and exercise whilst rowing and studying at Oxford University. I deliver effective, progressive and tailored one to one sessions for my clients. I'm an enthusiastic runner and compete in marathons regularly.
My interests in sport and exercise developed alongside my involvement in rowing whilst at Oxford University. With fifteen years of experience in exercise instruction, my interests in health and fitness are representative of the wide range of clientele I have worked with. I spent some years working in general fitness before specializing in exercise under medical referral. I deliver fun, effective, progressive and individually tailored one to one sessions, and believe in enabling clients to learn how to train effectively and also learn strategies for self-motivation to achieve their health and fitness goals. I enjoy keeping up to date with the latest developments in the health and fitness industry and passing this on to my clients.
My areas of interest include over 55’s exercise and wellness, training with pre-existing controlled medical and physical conditions, and corrective and sport specific training. I specialize in ante and post-natal exercise, stroke/neuro rehabilitation (ARNI), and cardiac disease and exercise (registered BACPR Instructor). I have also received my certificate of acknowledgement for passing my Parkinson’s Pro course for an educational fitness company called Fit Pro. I work in and around the Oxford region privately and in the great outdoors.
I am an enthusiastic sportswoman with running chief among my current pursuits. I participate regularly in local Parkruns, 10k, Half-Marathons and Marathon distances. I hold medals in the British National Rowing Championships, Belgian International Rowing Championships. I am a mother to two little girls.
