I have been a GP since 2013 and throughout my career to date, I have worked in primary care settings to provide family medicine, as well as in community hospitals where I have specialised in urgent and ambulatory care.
Clinically, I strive to provide a high standard of patient centred care and believe it is important to give a patient the time and safe space to express their concerns and needs so they can be fully addressed.
I graduated from Leicester Warwick Medical School in 2008 and undertook junior doctor training in the Oxford Deanery and specialty GP training as part of the Oxford VTS scheme. As a junior doctor, I worked in specialties such as Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, ENT and A&E.
Before changing career to study Medicine, I worked in the financial markets and hold an undergraduate degree in Experimental Psychology (from The University of Oxford- St. Edmund Hall) and a postgraduate masters degree in Occupational Psychology (London University-Birkbeck College).
When not working, I enjoy creative hobbies such as painting, stone carving and silversmithing as well as outdoor activities where I can enjoy fresh air, big skies and sunshine - these include skiing, cold water swimming and long walks with Spartacus my dog.
