I hold a Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and am currently appointed Honorary Teaching Fellow at University College London for the Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Psychosis programme.
I worked in the NHS for over 10 years as a Specialist and Senior Clinical Psychologist for East London NHS Foundation Trust and have worked with adults and children in private practice. I have completed specialist training in adolescent mental health and paediatric neurorehabilitation, as well as CBT for Psychosis and Behavioural Family Interventions. I am trained in neuropsychological assessment for people with ADHD, learning disability and brain injury and have co-authored several academic papers which have contributed to the mental health field, including best practice guidance for therapists assessing trauma. I am Director and Founder of an organisation that supports third sector organisations to work with people with mental health difficulties, and an appointed Specialist Advisor for the Care Quality Commission.
